FAQ
MAXIMUM WEIGHT THAT MY TRACK CAN SUPPORT?
Please check this table to figure out the maximum weight for your track, based on your installation.
WHAT IS THE TRACK’S MOTION SPEED AND HOW LOUD IS IT?
The motion speed is 12 cm/s and it make less than 30 dB while moving.
CAN THE MOTORIZED TRACK BE INSTALLED ON THE WALL? ARE THE COMPONENTS INCLUDED IN THE KIT?
Yes, the Abalon Motorized Track can be installed in the wall by using squares. The later are included in all our KITs.
CAN THE MOTORIZED TRACK BE INSTALLED WITH A WIRED WALL SWITCH?
The installation with a wired wall switch is possible and easy with 4 and 5 wire motors. The installation gets trickier with 3 wire motors, but also possible. Please find here the schemes of the different installations.
MY MOTORIZED TRACK DOES NOT OPEN (OR CLOSE) COMPLETELY
This might be because the motor has the wrong “open (or closed) position”. Please close the curtains and disconnect the motor. Wait 20 sec and connect it again. Now, push the “open” button of the remote control and let the curtain go the whole way and register the “open position”. Once the master carriers have completely stopped moving, push the “close” button of the remote control and let the motor register the “close position”. Again, please wait until the master carriers stop moving.
THE MASTER CARRIERS MOVE BACK A CENTIMETER WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT DESTINATION. IS IT NORMAL?
Yes! The Abalon motors have an automatic retreat for security purposes. This way, you avoid the master carriers colliding with runners or each other.
HOW MUCH SPACE DOES THE CURTAIN OCCUPY ONCE OPENED?
To know the space that the curtain will take once open and pooled at the end/s of the truck, please make the following calculation:
Nº of runners x 1,5 [cm/runner] + 7 [cm/pulley] + 10 [cm/master carrier] = space occupied by the curtain once open [result in cm]
HOW MANY RUNNERS ARE INCLUDED IN THE KIT?
All KITs include 8 runners per meter of profile. For example, a 4m Abalon KIT will include 32 runners (8x4).

ABALON MOTORIZED TRACK - WHITE
We now have the white version of the Abalon Motorized Track, for those installations that require a more delicate and balanced finish.
ABALON MOTORIZED TRACK - PERFECT WAVE
The Motorized Track with Perfect Wave has the same features as all the other Abalon Tracks and, in addition, it is designed to preserve the wave of the curtain.
