7. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The Abalon rail can support up to 50 kg. Check the table below to see how much weight it can support depending on the installation.
The motorized rail opens at 12 cm/s and the noise level is below 30 dB.
Yes, the Abalon Motorized Rail can be installed on both ceiling and wall. Wall installation components are included in the white kit; for the black kit they are sold separately.
Wall switch installation is possible and simple with 4- and 5-wire motors. It is also possible with a 3-wire motor, but more complex. Check the diagrams for more details.
This may be because the motor has registered an incorrect open or close position. To fix it, close the curtain and disconnect the motor from power (if not possible, detach the motor from the rail). Wait 20 seconds and reconnect it. Then press the “OPEN” button and let the curtain run its full path. Once it stops, press “CLOSE” and again let it complete the full travel.
Yes. Abalon motors include an automatic back movement for safety reasons to prevent collisions.
Some Abalon motors may require manual adjustment of the closing position. Disconnect the motor and move the master carriers to the ends of the rail. Reconnect it. Then run a closing cycle until the end stop is reached, and open again manually. The new limit position will be saved and the gap should be approximately 0.5 cm.
Intermediate runners × 1.5 cm + 7 cm (pulleys) + 10 cm (master carrier) = total space in cm.
Onda Perfecta kits include intermediate runners spaced every 6 cm or 8 cm. This equals 17 runners per meter for 6 cm wave and 12 runners per meter for 8 cm wave.
Follow the instructions below to configure your remote control.
- Press OPEN and CLOSE buttons at the same time until the motor vibrates once.
- Press the STOP button 3 times quickly. The motor will vibrate again. The direction is now reversed.
